Nine months after construction began, progress on site is clearly visible
Construction of Momentum Leisure's fourth Polish theme park began in Gliwice in December 2025. Eight months later, the site has been transformed. Where work was only just getting under way at the end of last year, a large part of the future park building now stands.
From construction site to park building
The photograph from July 2026 shows just how much progress has been made. The large indoor hall has taken shape, substantial sections of the roof and facade have been installed, and work is continuing on the grounds surrounding the building.
This marks a clear change since March. At that time, the underground infrastructure and technical areas had been completed, and the first structural elements were beginning to rise above ground.
Construction is the next step in an investment of more than €50 million on a 67,000 m² site next to the Europa Centralna shopping centre. The plans include 10,000 m² of indoor attractions and 10,000 m² of outdoor space. CFE is the construction partner.
Investors visit Gliwice to see the progress
A group of investors recently travelled to Gliwice to see how construction is progressing.
A site visit like this brings to life what is harder to convey in reports and construction drawings: the scale of the building, its location next to Europa Centralna and the development of the land surrounding the park.
The visit also gave investors the opportunity to see the current stage of construction at first hand and discuss questions about the project on site.
The final vision is becoming clearer
While work continues outdoors, the 3D renders show how the current structure will eventually form part of the completed park.
From a bird's-eye view, it is clear how the indoor park, outdoor attractions, access roads and surrounding area will ultimately fit together.
The Gliwice park will open as Theme Park Episodia Gliwice. Momentum Leisure unveiled the new brand name in July. The Gliwice site is scheduled to open in 2027.
Hard Hat Tour planned for Q3
In the third quarter, a Hard Hat Tour of the construction site will be held for project partners and members of the Polish media.
The event will focus on both the work completed to date and the next phase of construction. Attendees will be shown what has been achieved since work began in December and what remains to be done ahead of the opening.
Schedule remains firmly focused on a 2027 opening
Work is progressing on schedule.
Over the coming period, the focus will increasingly shift from erecting the hall (the "box") to completing and fitting out the indoor space, while work on the outdoor area will begin at the same time.
The differences between the construction site in December, its appearance in July and the final design make the progress increasingly tangible. The outlines of a fully fledged theme park are now emerging.
